Your Questions Answered

When will I receive my tickets?

For security reasons Sportsworld will not send your tickets by mail. You will be handed all your tickets personally in the Sportsworld Fairway Village on the first day of your Wimbledon experience.

Can I get extra tickets once I have arrived?
If we have tickets available we may be able to help you - but such is the popularity of Wimbledon that it is rare to have additional tickets. If you find that, once arrived in the UK, you require extra tickets, you should discuss this with the Sportsworld team on arrival at Fairway Village.

What happens if I lose my tennis tickets or travel cards?
It is very important that you keep your Wimbledon tickets safe as we are unable to issue replacements. We can replace travel cards but there may be an additional cost.

What happens if it rains on days that I have Wimbledon tickets?
The All England Lawn Tennis Club offers a rain check refund system which by default covers all tickets. The policy states that, if there is less than one hour's play on the court for which tickets have been bought, the maximum refund payable will be the face value of the ticket. If there is more than one hour's play but less than two hours' play, refunds will be limited to half of the face value of the ticket.

Where will my seats be at Wimbledon?
Given Sportsworld's long-standing Wimbledon Championships appointment since 1992, our official seats have traditionally been very well located on all the show courts offered: Centre Court (usually rows N-P), Court No. 1 (rows G-P), Court No. 2 (the beginning of the third row). However, we do not get our actual seat numbers for each Championships until just before the tournament.

Can I request certain seats?
You may request certain preferences under 'special requests' and we will do out best to accommodate these, although we cannot guarantee specific location of seats.

Are there any specific seats for people with a disability?
There are limited seats available at Wimbledon for those with a disability - but these are not available through Sportsworld. The All England Club puts these tickets into the public ballot and, as such, they do not become part of our allocation.

Can I purchase 'tickets only' through Sportsworld?
Sportsworld is prohibited by the All England Club to provide tickets in isolation; our contract is such that we offer tickets as part of a Wimbledon tours or hospitality program. Tickets only can be purchased via public ballot. An application form for this can be requested directly from the All England Club in writing (note that there is usually a deadline of over 6 months before the start of the tournament).

Further details can be found on the official Wimbledon website at www.wimbledon.org or by contacting the All England Tennis and Croquet Club on 011 44 208 944 1066.
